Investment Scorecard is the industry leader in performance reporting. They offer
a suite of
sophisticated performance analysis reports that enable each client to monitor
adherence to
the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) established by the CFA
Institute
(formerly AIMR). Reporting options include paper or web.
If you would like to attract more investment-savvy clients, this interface
should be an
important part of your suite of services. Having an independent third party
calculate your
performance gives more authoritative weight to the results.
The TrustNet interface with Investment Scorecard seamlessly transmits
transactions and
positions that import to their database. The typical cycle is for you to finish
month-end
processing, prepare statements, then transmit the entire month to Scorecard.
They can also
accept transmissions on a daily basis if needed.
The Investment Scorecard staff will help you configure your reporting options,
which can be
different for different groups of clients. For example, you might ask that
certain clients have
access to the Scorecard website and that others receive only paper statements.
You can
choose to have the statements mailed to directly to your clients, or to your
office for review.
The TrustNet interface module includes two programs:
|

-
Investment Scorecard Account Maintenance is where you set up each account
that will be included in the export. You can designate the service code for each
one
so Investment Scorecard will know what reports to prepare.
- Export to Investment Scorecard creates a file that contains:
- account information, such as name, service code, investment objectives and
officer code
- transactions for the month, plus any backdated transactions not
sent previously
- security positions as of month-end
- details on each security, such as name, coupon rate, call dates and
ratings
- market prices for each security as of month-end
After you create the export file, it is transmitted to the Investment
Scorecard FTP site using
PGP encryption. |

- Market pricing import from Interactive Data. The month-end IDSI service provides a standard data feed. The Remote Plus service can be used at any frequency and includes
many flexible data options.
- The Performance Measurement module in TrustNet could be used for accounts that do not need the depth of analysis that Scorecard provides. The
historical performance returns calculated in this module can be printed on the summary
pages of our customer reports and Premium Landscape Statements.
